At Ololo Express, we are committed to creating a trusted, secure, and fair shopping experience for both buyers and verified sellers. Our Buyer Protection Policy ensures that every order made through the Ololo Express Verified Online Marketplace is protected under clearly defined conditions.
✅ What Our Buyer Protection Covers
Buyers can shop with confidence knowing we’ve got them covered in the following situations:
Order Not Received
If the buyer doesn’t receive their order within the agreed timeframe and the seller fails to provide valid proof of delivery.Product Not as Described
If the item received is significantly different from the seller’s description, misleading, or incomplete.Damaged Goods
If the product arrives broken or damaged and the buyer reports it within 24 hours of delivery.Non-responsive Sellers
If the seller does not respond to a buyer dispute within 3 business days, Ololo Express may intervene.
🚫 What Is Not Covered
To maintain clarity and fairness, our policy does not cover:
Payments made outside the Ololo Express platform
Orders placed via WhatsApp, mobile money, or direct calls
Food items, gift items, and sale products (marked as non-returnable)
Fashion items returned after 1 business day
Items damaged due to buyer negligence (e.g. broken screens not caused by shipping)
Late reports made beyond 48 hours of delivery
🔁 Returns and Refunds
Return Eligibility: Only applicable to fashion items returned within 1 business day in original, unused condition.
Refund Method: Refunds are issued as store credit, unless the product is unavailable or out of stock.
Shipping Costs: Non-refundable unless the seller is proven at fault.
⚖️ How Disputes Are Handled
Buyer Initiates Dispute
Buyers must raise a complaint through the Ololo Express support center within 48 hours of receiving the product.Seller Response
The seller has 3 business days to resolve the issue directly with the buyer.Ololo Express Mediation
If unresolved, Ololo Express will mediate based on order data, communication history, photos, and delivery proof.
📌 Important Notes
Verified Sellers Only: Buyer Protection applies only to transactions on the Verified Online Marketplace.
Store Credit Only: Refunds will be in the form of store credit unless otherwise communicated.
No Manufacturer Returns: Items must be returned directly to the seller—not to the product manufacturer.
⚠️ Limitations of Liability
Ololo Express is not responsible for:
Losses or damages from payments made outside the Ololo Express checkout system
Orders placed without our knowledge or outside our verified marketplace
Disputes not reported using our official support channels
